My story and how I got here

I was born and raised in São Paulo, Brazil, and long before I ever imagined photography could become my career, it was already part of who I was.

As a kid, I was always the one fighting to hold the family camera. I wanted to be the person documenting birthdays, vacations, and every little moment in between. Looking back, I realize I wasn't just taking photos—I was preserving memories before I even understood their value.

I grew up in a low-income household where hard work wasn't optional. I got my first job at 14 years old, became the first person in my family to attend college, and spent years balancing school, work, and big dreams. I've always been a dreamer. The kind of person who believes that with enough faith, determination, and hard work, life can become bigger than the circumstances you were born into.

In 2012, while still in Brazil, I bought my first camera with money I had saved from my internship job and started my photography business. I had no connections, no roadmap, and no guarantee it would work. But I knew I loved telling stories and making people feel seen.

A few years later, I made one of the biggest decisions of my life and moved to the United States as an au pair. It was the most affordable and safest way I could find to immerse myself in American culture and create new opportunities. At the time, I could barely speak English. I arrived alone, far from everything familiar, and spent that first year navigating uncertainty, changing jobs, learning a new language, and figuring out how to build a life from scratch.

Going back wasn't an option.

I came here with a dream—not only to build a better future for myself, but to help my family. By God's grace, I was able to support my sister through college, help with health treatments, and create opportunities that once felt impossible for us.

Along the way, I found something even more valuable than success. I found my faith.

I met Jesus in a way that transformed my life, and through church in San Francisco, I met the love of my life. Today, my husband and I share a life filled with creativity, faith, adventure, and our sweet dog, Bali. He's a musician, content creator, model, my biggest supporter, and truly my favorite person in the world.

Photography has taken me places I never imagined possible. It has allowed me to travel, meet incredible people, and witness some of the most meaningful moments of their lives.

When I photograph a wedding, I'm not just documenting beautiful details. I'm documenting legacy. The people who raised you. The friends who became family. The fleeting moments that will mean even more years from now.

My approach blends editorial imagery with honest storytelling. I want your photographs to feel elevated and timeless, while still capturing the emotions, relationships, and moments that make your story uniquely yours.

Because at the end of the day, that's what changed my life.

A camera.

A dream.

A lot of faith.

And the belief that every story deserves to be remembered.
